I can’t make it work!
I’m running Ubuntu Lucid and when I click the Chrome Extension icon it says “Cannot connect to LiveReload server. Please run livereload command from the directory you want to watch.” but the server it’s running in the folder I want to watch.

Version: 1.3 (compatible with browser extension versions 1.3.x)
Port: 10083
Watching: /home/movihus/code/repo/inventario_impresoras
– extensions: .html .css .js .png .gif .jpg .php .php5 .py .rb .erb
– excluding changes in: */.git/* */.svn/* */.hg/*

LiveReload is waiting for browser to connect.

What’s wrong?

Ilya is the man. This same presentation was given by him at Railsconf 2010. Someone asked “What do you do when plugins or other software within your stack have memory leaks?” His answer was(pardon the langauge, just being accurate) “Simple, we fix the fucking leaks.”

Awesome Gregg, thanks for share, let me ask you something, does everybody @ envylabs work with MAC equipment ?. Can you share a little about the internal apps, like maybe chat/jabber server, mail server, is there some kind of shared storage servers, do you guys use storage on the net for backup?, what about development, all local and push production to a hosted server ?. I understand if this information is confidential, but nice post I’m a big fan thanks again for share.
