iPhone App Development Course in the Works
In case you haven’t heard, our tech startup Code School recently launched its first Kickstarter project “Try iOS,” a course for iPhone app development. If funded, this course would make learning iOS app development easier and more accessible than ever.
With iPhone app development on the rise, we wanted to pass this news along to anyone interested in learning to create apps, and give you the opportunity to check out this new project. iOS app education and development currently require access to an updated Apple computer with the latest iOS programming software, and Code School hopes to reduce these barriers to entry with an in-browser code editor and live iPhone simulator. That means even beginners can learn to create iPhone applications in mere hours.
Code School courses are known for their high-quality screencasts, in-browser code challenges, and gamification principles that make learning fun, with no downloads required. This course will be created in addition to Code School’s monthly course output and budget. For Code School subscribers, there will be no change or disruption to monthly courses and resources. If this course gets funded, it will be available for subscribers at a discounted rate, though it will not be part of the normal Code School web development subscription. If you are interested in this course, we recommend that you buy it now via Kickstarter to lock in the current low rate before it is developed and made accessible on the Code School site.
